Reception children have enjoyed learning about keeping their teeth healthy. They enjoyed writing to the Tooth Fairy' telling her all about the words they can write. The children are now writing a daily dictated sentence in phonics. They are also helping to write words and phrases in their helicopter stories. The children have great fun acting out their helicopter stories at the end of the day.

Subitising is the ability to recognise how many objects there are without having to count them one by one.
